Crowne Plaza Pittsburgh West – Green Tree hosted the SKAL Board Installation Dinner Tuesday night. Members enjoyed an evening of good conversation, premium drinks and full sit-down dinner service. Those in attendance were impressed by the exceptional service.
The Crowne Plaza is located just 3 miles from Downtown Pittsburgh with complimentary shuttle service to Pittsburgh. The hotel is newly renovated, full-service and includes 11,700 square feet of flexible meeting space across three ballrooms that can hold everything from board meetings to large corporate events and weddings.
50/50 Raffle
Congratulations to Bob Paige in winning $103 from the 50/50 raffle - proceeds benefit the Joe Kane SKAL Scholarship fund. Last year the group granted over $10,000 worth of scholarships to 5 deserving students in the Greater Pittsburgh area. The entire hospitality and tourism community can support this cause by participating the annual Golf Outing – Monday, July 17th.

Chapter President, Jay Cruz passed the torch onto Vicki Abel who led us all in her first SKAL toast. SKAL Pittsburgh meets once a month for dinner. It is a unique association that encompasses the many professions of the tourism industry.
